This week, I finished Speak No Evil by Uzodinma Iweala. It was recommended to me by Kate Olson (who reads like crazy and is fantastic. She’s got the insta stories on lock).

In a nutshell: Niru figures out he’s gay and comes out to his best friend, who had a crush on him. When his parents find out, they take Niru to Nigeria to help him get over it. Niru and Meredith grow apart after he returns from Nigeria. This is the story of what happens after. Hold on for this one. You’re going to need some tissues.
