Book Blogger Hop: New Year’s Resolution

Your New Year’s Resolution is to read a classic novel that you have never read before. What book will it be? -Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer

For a minute, I thought this was going to be challenging. I don’t often read books that aren’t YA. Not to mention this big looming paper I have to write which has me reading methodology books.

But my book club, The Nerdfighteria Online Book Club, is reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde in January. Lovely Victorian novel, I’m sure. Free of satire and societal criticism.

What classic novel would you read?

I haven’t read that one but I’ve thought of it before. Good choice 🙂 Happy New Year!

I haven’t read any of those. Where was my high school English teacher. 🙂

I didn’t care for The Picture of Dorian Gray, I’m afraid, but it would make a good book group discussion pick. I went with an author I’ve grown to love whose works I haven’t read all of yet. I hope you have a great New Year!
