What authors do you always read and recommend?

There are a few, actually. I got to meet Neal Shusterman in 2009, and I’ll read and recommend everything he writes. I love how the novels he writes are so close to what life could be like if a few different choices were made. It creeps me out, but I recommend him to everyone. 

I also recommend Jason Reynolds to everyone (my mom in particular). There’s something about the way Reynolds writes his characters that I absolutely love. And I tell everyone they need to read him.
