One of my New Year’s reading resolutions is to read more picture books. I’ve been hunting for high quality multicultural picture books as well as picture books about adoption. So I consulted my friend, who is an adoptive parent, and I’ve spent some time on Colours of Us, which has a ton of multicultural picture book lists. Then I went to the library and picked up a bunch. Here’s what I got (length: 0:48).
- “More More More,” Said the Baby by Vera B. Williams
- Niño Wrestles the World by Yuyi Morales
- Niño’s Horrendous Hermanitas by Yuyi Morales
