I wasn’t sure, before I wrote my post in a bookish group on Facebook, how many books I read this month. It’s been a heck of a month: my dissertation proposal was due, I had a hiccup with my committee, and it was overall, pretty stressful. But November’s beginning, and it’s truly fall in the desert (as fall as the desert gets). Here’s what I read in October.
Blanca & Roja by Anna-Marie McLemore
What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera (Sticky Note Review)
Harbor Me by Jacqueline Woodson (Sticky Note Review)
Pride by Ibi Zoboi (Sticky Note Review)
Full Cicada Moon by Marilyn Hilton
Dry by Neal Shusterman and Jarrod Shusterman
Darius the Great is not Okay by Adib Khorram
Great job! Happy November!
