Fall TBR | Top Ten Tuesday

I can’t believe it’s fall already. I live in the desert, so we don’t get to watch the leaves changing like we did in the Midwest. We just get rain.

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl is Fall TBR. Here’s mine. There are 12.

  1. Pride by Ibi Zoboi
  2. Wildcard by Marie Lu
  3. Puddin’ by Julie Murphy
  4. Merci Suaréz Changes Gears by Meg Medina
  5. The Education of Margot Sanchez by Liliam Rivera
  6. Odd One Out by Nic Stone
  7. Drowned City by Don Brown
  8. Saga Vol. 5-9 by Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples
  9. And the Ocean Was Our Sky by Patrick Ness
  10. Harbor Me by Jacqueline Woodson

Those are my trade books. In addition, I’m also reading Nutrition for Dummies because I was asked to, and The Open-Hearted Way to Open Adoption as part of our adoption education.

It also occurs to me that I neglected to add House of Leaves to this TBR and I’m reading it for book club.

What’s on your fall TBR? Leave me a link so I can check it out (and make mine longer!).

I’ve heard Pride is good! And I need to get up to date on Saga as well. I’m pretty sure I read volume 5, but that was the last one…

Bonus – after I posted this went and got the audio. It’s read by Elizabeth Acevedo. The Poet X was great (both story and audio) so I’m stoked.

Nice list! Patrick Ness is an insanely good author; I haven’t read this one, but I’m sure it’ll be good.

Odd One Out and Wildcard are the two of your list I’m most interested in! I can’t wait for my copy of Wildcard to arrive so I can dive straight in, hah. Dumplin’ is on my TBR, but don’t know when I’ll get to it yet. I just know I’m going to like it though so.. maybe I should soon.. ish.. :’)

    Happy reading!

If you haven’t started House of Leaves yet, I recommend starting it soon… it’s proving to require a lot of time and concentration. (Hopefully we didn’t scare off all the newbies…)

I’m so excited about Pride. Hope you enjoy Margot Sanchez. It was one of my favorite debuts. Happy reading!

Lovely list – I’ve always fancied picking up Saga but still haven’t found the time to do so. One day
    Hope you enjoy all these.
