I think I heard about See You In the Cosmos in a Book Riot Kids email, which landed it on my Top Ten Tuesday list of books to read this summer.

See You in the Cosmos follows an 11-year-old, Alex, who has free reign of his world, and is obsessed with outer space. He’s recording sounds to send to outer space on his golden iPod, which he’s going to do from a rocket launching competition. It becomes a road trip novel, where Alex finds a whole lot more than he intended, including family.
