Hello June, and hello summer. It’s weird to be in June and still going to work, but I like the work I’m doing, so it’s not that big of a deal. Next week I’ll get to tell you about how similar working with teachers is to working with students (my guess, very similar).
Here’s what I read in May
Picture Books (not pictured, haha):
- Violet the Pilot by Steve Breen
- Charlie & Mouse by Laurel Snyder
- Finding Winnie by Lindsay Mattick
- Wolf in the Snow by Matthew Cordell
Young adult and middle grade novels:
The Beauty that Remains by Ashley Woodfolk (Sticky Note Review)
Binti by Nnedi Okorafor (I’ll write a review when I finish the series)
Down and Across by Arvin Ahmadi (Sticky Note Review)
Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli (Sticky Note Review)
Sunny (Track #3) by Jason Reynolds (Sticky Note Review)
Ghost Boys by Jewell Parker Rhodes (Sticky Note Review)
The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard #1) by Rick Riordan
Happy June!

I really want to read Down and Across and Leah on the Offbeat. Hopefully I’ll have some extra reading time over the summer. Hope you have a wonderful June!
