There was never a question about whether or not I’d read Ghost Boys by Jewell Parker Rhodes. The only question was when. I have a tendency to put off reading novels that will sooner or later find themselves on my BLM YA list because of the emotional toll that they take. So Ghost Boys was on my Sunday Bookstack for two weeks before I got to it.
Believe it or not, having audio helped. It got me started.
