Hello, Readers!
Today I’m linking up with Billy at Coffee Addicted Writer to do this week’s Book Blogger Hop. This week’s question comes from Elizabeth at Silver’s Reviews
Is there a fictitious town in a book that you would love to live in? What makes it appealing?
Instead of town, though, I’m going to go with a world (I may read a fair amount of fantasy).
If I were a teenager, I’d want to live in the Simon-verse (that is, the worlds of Becky Albertalli: Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, The Upside of Unrequited, Leah on the Offbeat). It seems like the relationships there are solid and not overly idealistic.
Okay, honestly, I’d love to be a parent in the Simon-verse as well. I loved the Peskin-Susos in The Upside of Unrequited and I’d love to be friends with them. There are a number of aspects of Nadine’s experience I think we could bond over.
And if I’m being completely honest, I just checked this book out from the library again even though I’m reading a bunch of other things just because revisiting this world is comforting to me.
What bookish town/world would you love to live in?
Leave it in the comments and I’ll see you there soon. Until then, happy reading, and don’t forget to be awesome.
I don’t know that world.
Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see you on the hop this week.

I would love to live in the Wizarding World. I would also love to live in Stars Hollow, from the TV series Gilmore Girls.

It’s definitely a world I like going back to. To be fair, specifically The Upside of Unrequited because of Nadine.
