I picked up The First Rule of Punk on recommendation from The Loud Library Lady because I’m always looking for books for my students to connect with. I’m very excited about this one, primarily because the themes in this novel are not Mexican-American specific, though the cultural elements are. Take a look at my Sticky Note Review below (2:04 min).
