#bookaday Love by Matt de la Peña and illustrated by Loren Long. This was such a beautiful picture book. I actually listened to the audio a few days before I got to read the book – Matt read it aloud on Facebook for World Read-Aloud Day. It much more powerful with pictures.

If you’re a picture book fan, or even if you aren’t, Love by Matt de la Peña is definitely one worth picking up.
