Lunch with a Book Blogger

We’re on the road again, headed back to the southwest. Over the past few weeks, I’ve learned that it’s hard to blog when on vacation. Since Book Blogger Hop, hosted by Billy at Coffee Addicted Writer, is less labor intensive, it’s easy to write in the car.

This week’s question is submitted by Kitty @ Vicarious Bookworm.

If you could have lunch with any living authors and/or book bloggers, who would you choose and why?

This is actually pretty easy for me. I’d love to have lunch with the author of this question, Kitty. We’ve had some great conversations on Instagram and I’m so impressed with her bookstagram prowess.

In terms of authors, I’d love to sit down with Zac Brewer, Cheryl Rainfield, Reneé Watson, Angie Thomas and Ibi Zoboi. It’s honestly because I think these people write super cool books and I’d love to talk to them about life, liberty, and the pursuit of connecting with teen readers. Note: this is the short list. There are so many other authors I’d love to have lunch with.

How would you answer this question?

  1. For me, the obvious one would be J.K. Rowling, and then I would love to have lunch with Homer and some of the other ancient Greek writers. I feel like I could learn a lot from Angie Thomas and Ibi Zoboi.

  2. OMG lunch with you would be so awesome! And thank you for the amazing compliment! ❤

There are so many I'd love to have lunch with, yourself included. The list keeps growing as I discover more amazing bloggers, vloggers, bookstagrammers, and authors. Short list? You, Katie from Katsyxo, Kevin from sumptuousbooks, and Shirin on the v/blogger & bookstagrammer side. Leigh Bardugo, Angie Thomas, Lori M. Lee, and Tristina Wright on the author side.
