Girl Mans Up by M-E Girard was one of the books I saw face-out when I went to Powell’s in Portland. After much waffling, I decided not to buy it even though I was intrigued by the premise and have a tendency to add to my collection books with characters who are exploring gender identity and expression.

I found it at the library and listened to it almost nonstop over the course of two days. Here’s how non-stop:

Now it’s on my list of books I will add to my collection at some point (hopefully in the near future).
