THe stickies reminded me just how much thought predicates plot, character and theme decisions. This book reintroduced me to the beauty of these decisions. 📚 Additionally, it’s an amazingly told story, with a narrator whose hold on reality is rather tenuous. The other characters are compelling, too – I felt for Bo’s sister Phoebe as she tried to compensate for Bo by being perfect, driven, stable. It’s a story I’m still sitting with – that I think I’ll be thinking about for some time.
