It’s strange not to be keeping track of the number of books I’ve read this year. But because I’m not going for quantity, I’m more selective about the books I’ve been reading. It’s really nice to love everything I’ve read so far. In the last two weeks, here’s what I’ve been up to.
I saw this tweet on Twitter, clicked the link, and promptly looked the book up on my local library’s website. I can think of a few people I’ve interacted with recently who could benefit from reading this graphic adaptation.
This book just blew my kid’s mind. As it should. If I could afford to put a copy in every classroom, I would. https://t.co/0GVUipwqpb

Since Butter, Erin Jade Lange has been on my auto-buy list. Naturally, I had to pick up Rebel, Bully, Geek, Pariah the week it came out.

The Nerdfighteria Online Book Club read The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin last month. I don’t think I would have picked it up on my own (which is what I love about book club), but it was definitely worth the read.

Tracie was going to buy this for me at Christmas, but wasn’t sure if I’d already read it. On our last bookstore date, after finding out that I hadn’t, she picked it up for me.
