We went to an awesome comic book store in Cleveland over winter break, looking for the first issue of Storm (which I still haven’t gotten around to writing about) and were hand sold Pride of Baghdad, after expressing our dear, dear love for all things Saga.
It was totally worth going through the line twice.

As with other Vaughn work I’ve read, the story and the characters were complex, the art was stunning, and it packed an emotional wallop I just wasn’t ready for.
