TBR November 2014

Add TBR lists to things I haven’t done in a while. Along with Sunday #Bookstack. But with dissertation and dossier and work and things, there’s not as much time to do the same kind of reading I used to do.  Which isn’t to say I don’t read anymore, I just don’t read as much. Life changes.

That said, what I’ve decided to do is read a different book during Independent Reading in each of my classes. Maybe I’ll even rotate classes on different days so my students can see the different genres of books that are available to them. Here are the books I’m going to read this month (that I haven’t already started.  I’m currently listening to Frankenstein and Station Eleven, and reading Revolution).

So I’ll be reading Fire & Ash (Benny Imura #4), Champion (Legend #3) and Rose Under Fire (companion to Code Name Verity). The theme of this month’s TBR is finishing series. The nice thing about reading the end of a series in front of my students: if they express interest, they’re welcome (and indeed, encouraged) to start the first.

If you’re curious, that’s the typewriter that my grandfather gave me. It belonged to my great grandfather. And as you can see, it still works. Here’s what it says.

Have you read the books I’m going to read? What’d you think? And what are you reading this month?
