Two challenges this month. The Book Photo Challenge by Books & Cupcakes, and the Reflective Teaching Blogging Challenge fromTeachThought. While they’re not related to each other, I thought I’d take care of both at the same time, in one post. Just for fun. You can see all of the photos I’ve taken for the book photo challenge (and other things) in my Photo Gallery.
Book Photo Challenge Day 5: Bookstack
These are the books I REALLY want to read next.

Pictured: Cress by Marissa Meyer (http://bit.ly/mm-cress), Allegiant by Veronica Roth (http://bit.ly/vr-allegiant), Revolution by Deborah Wiles (http://bit.ly/dw-revolution) and Last Night I Sang to the Monster by Benjamin Alire Saenz (http://bit.ly/bas-monster)
Reflective Teaching Day 5: Post a Picture of Your Classroom
I neglected to take photograph before I left school this afternoon, so the photo will come on Monday. I can tell you, though, it won’t have students, and that will be the big thing missing. Really, what I’d love to post for you is audio – so you could hear how my classroom sounds when in full swing. As someone who likes quiet, getting used to the loud, the productive loud, was difficult. But it’s worth it to overhear students having discussions about content that aren’t led by me. I swear, it’s one of the most beautiful things to a teacher’s ear.
