So this week, we’re talking about scary looking covers. I don’t have too many books that have scary covers, so I gave you the three I could think of off the top of my head.

Haunted by Chuck Pahilniuk. I read this book after having read the short story “Guts,” which totally disgusted me. I loved how his writing evoked such a visceral reaction.

Lockdown: Escape from Furnace by Alexander Gordon Smith. This one has a “Are you my mummy?” kind of vibe to it, and while I love Captain Jack, “The Empty Child” and “The Doctor Dances” creep me out. Oh, and the needles?  Needles = bad.

Full Tilt by Neal Shusterman. Eyes. Look at the eyes. No wait. Don’t look into the eyes. Creepy carnival shows up in town. And it’s absolutely nothing like The Night Circus. This carnival is sinister.
