Fan of Battlestar? Try Partials

Partials (Partials, #1)Partials by Dan Wells
Paperback, 470 pages

Biological robots, created by humans to fight their wars, who then turn on their creators because they’re treated like objects and not real people.

Following the war between the humans and the Partials, one girl is bent on finding the cure for the disease that was released by the Partials that causes all human babies to die within three days of birth. (Note: this means the human race is going extinct.)

I haven’t watched all of the TV show Battlestar Galactica, but the premise sounds rather familiar, which is a definite draw for me as a reader. I’m curious about what will happen next both in the books and in Battlestar (which is actually very different from Partials – the only similarity is the living robots).

Darn my friend Rosiee for getting me started on this series.
