Top 10 Tuesday: Favorite Books of 2013 (So Far)

I think this is going to make paring down 200 books (my goal) into 10-12, depending on how I decide to make my list, a lot easier. Did that makes sense?

What are yours? Leave them in the comments. ๐Ÿ™‚ And check out this week’s Top Ten Tuesday post on the Broke and the Bookish.

Thanks for stopping by! I am still trying to sort out how I feel about The Magicians. It was not what I was expecting at all. I wasn’t able to turn on the sound so I only saw you book covers, so I apologize if you already said this…have you gotten Prodigy yet? I think it’s even better than Legend, which was great! I am currently listening to Aristotle and Dante. So far so good!

I have read Prodigy and I loved it even more. I wasn’t expecting the difference between the Republic and the Colonies and that kind of blew my mind. Aristotle & Dante is particularly good for me because I teach in a border town not too far from El Paso, so the identity issues that the boys struggle with are similar to ones my students struggle with. Sorry about the sound, but thanks for watching. ๐Ÿ˜€

Great picks! I have Code Name Verity out from the library and can not wait to start it ๐Ÿ˜€ I really need to read I Hunt Killers as well. Speaking of Criminal Minds-type shows have you seen NBC’s Hannibal? That’s what that reminded me of. I actually had Legend in my hands at Barnes & Noble then put it down at the last minute! I’m kicking myself now, it sounds so good. Thanks for stopping by my post!

I haven’t seen Hannibal, but I’ll put it on my list. I read Legend on recommendation from one of my younger cousins who has yet to steer me wrong. I’m interested to see where the series goes. Let me know what you think when you get to it. If I don’t already have a post about Legend, I will soon.

Gah, I NEED to read Just One Day! I’ve heard so many good things about it… Moving that up the TBR list for sure. Great picks this week!

Thanks for stopping by my TTT ๐Ÿ™‚

So many readers can’t be wrong, right? ๐Ÿ˜› and I’m not a huge fan of romance, if that says anything. Thank you for stopping by, too. Happy reading. ๐Ÿ™‚
