Ask The Passengers by A. S. King

Ask The Passengers
Ask the Passengers by A. S. King
Hardcover, 296 pages

Astrid is fantastic at keeping secrets. She keeps the secrets of her father, the secrets of her best friend, and a secret of her own. The only people she shares the secrets with are the passengers of the planes she watches from her backyard.

As they do, the secrets Astrid keeps get harder to keep, especially when her friends know there’s something going on, and she is caught somewhere she shouldn’t be.

This was the first novel I read by A. S. King, and I was impressed. It’s an amazing coming of age story about questioning everything, not at the least the roles society wants us to adhere to. The video below is an excerpt from the beginning of the novel. Check it out to get a feel for the story.
