Oh, I’m so excited about this one. I’m going to put This Dark Endeavor in my bookstack for next week so I’m ready when Such Wicked Intent comes out. If you’ve missed out on This Dark Endeavor, let me catch you up. Kenneth Oppel is creating the backstory for Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Basically, we’re finding out how Victor Frankenstein became the Victor Frankenstein obsessed with the reanimation of flesh who ultimately shuns his own creation due to its hideousness. Even if you haven’t read the original gothic thriller, This Dark Endeavor is a fabulous read.
