Finding New Passions

Curveball: The Year I Lost My Grip

Peter Friedman was a pitcher. That was, until he blew his elbow out the summer before his freshman year of high school. He still has photography, and his grandpa, but after his grandpa gives him thousands of dollars worth of photography equipment, Pete’s not entirely sure what’s happening with his grandpa either. Pete has to figure out what his new dream is, how to help his grandfather, and how to navigate the social world of high school.  For a funny story about figuring out life when something gets in your way, try Curveball by Jordan Sonnenblick.
