Featured Video Writing Prompts | TeachHUB: — another site out of my Twitter feed.

I don’t know about your students, but I know that mine are incredibly engaged in video, especially when it comes from YouTube. (This could be novelty, as YouTube is blocked in our school building.) On the site you’ll find a variety of videos with subjects ranging from the Oscars, to remembering 9/11 to storm chasing. Each video is accompanied with prompts of varying difficulty, geared toward different levels of learners.

My favorite prompt, following a video about the Google search engine, asks students to think about the Google searches they make, and decide what other people would think of them if they were defined only by their Google searches. Interesting line of thinking.
