Bulletin Boards

I’m not one who is big on bulletin boards. Or inspirational posters. If you look around my classroom, you’ll find movie posters and books talking up spare space in the marker trays. If you look on my door, you’ll see a sign that says “read irresponsibly,” which is something I feel strongly about.

For the last few semesters the librarian at my school has been donating spare dust jackets (meaning the hardcover of the book has the same printed image) to me for display in my classroom. I decided, after much deliberation on whether or not cutting the jacket was an act of sacrilege, to use the jackets to decoupage one of my boards.
